Venus is in Capricorn from 11/26 - 12/20
After weeks of dressing in "Sagittarius casual" Venus decided it was time to trade in the archer's informal attire for some timeless Capricorn classics.
From the moment she slipped into her conservatively cut yet elegant Ralph Lauren suit, the goddess of love felt her work ethic growing stronger, her authority increasing and her ambition skyrocketing.
Likewise, many of us may be experiencing a renewed determined to achieve certain goals or expand our influence in some way, and with Mercury retrograde it is an excellent time to review and/or revise our action plans.
Although the goddess of love appears aloof and reserved while in Capricorn, in reality her passions run quite deep in this earthy sign that just happens to be one of the most loyal and responsible signs in the zodiac.
While in this faithful sign, Venus takes her promises and commitments seriously and demonstrates them through her loyalty, support and willingness to help. Similarly, at this time we are interested in lasting relationships short-lived romances and passing fads.
Besides love, Venus is also the planetary ruler of money, and as long as she is immersed in Capricorn practicality she is conservative with her cash and only interested in purchases that will stand the test of time.
Consequently, during this time we are likely to prefer investing our discretionary income rather than spending it on pleasurable but frivolous items and activities.
Finally, Venus presides over our values.
While she is in the sign of definition, Venus will not only establish who, what and where her priorities lie but she directs us to do the same.
